Welcome to Steppin' in the Bayou

Steppin’ in the Bayou, LLC is a dance organization that features a style of ballroom dancing called "steppin" that originated in Chicago, Illinois and Detroit, Michigan. Steppers can look forward to (2) yearly events the first, a Mardi Gras Steppers Dance on the fourth Saturday of January and the Annual Dance Competition and Silent Auction for a non profit organization held the first Saturday in August.

Tuesday night in Baton Rouge you can join "Steppin' in the Bayou, LLC" for weekly dance lessons at DJon's Restaurant 5255 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA from 8pm - 10pm.

These sessions are to encourage the involvement of the community and promote a healthy way of living through dance. We invite interested parties from the ages of 20 and up to join.
